HANOVER SQUARE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION – HANOVER SQUARE

The Hanover Square project consisted of repairing piles that were leaking through hairline cracks present during the formation of the pile process. The client required the piles to be leak proof to allow the substructure walls to commence, Praeter carried out resin injection works to all of the piles that were not water tight.

Praeter first drilled all of the effected piles and inserted long “lances” and short “packers” into the piles through and along the crack locations to allow the resin to be injected under pressure. Once the cracks in the piles had been resin injected the pile would be left for 24hrs then checked for any further leaks in adjacent untreated piles as the water table behind the piles re-adjusts and finds a new level.

Praeter sucessfully treated all of the piles to the clients satisifaction and were praised for their quick reaction time in order to complete the project promptly and allow critical site works to continue.
