The benefits of using post-tensioning over a traditional RC precast segement are;

Note that post-tensioning can also be incoporated into an on-site in-situ concrete staircase solution but the precast option generally offers a more controlled environment to form the required finishes.

Our site services team use specialist post-tensioned equipment and materials for installation of post-tensioning into concrete precast staircases, this can be a straight flight or a more architecturally pleasing spiral staircase. All of our site installation team are CARES PT2 accredited and all of our components conform to the minimum ETAG specification requirements.
