Praeter Engineering offer a full design, supply & installation package for all heavy lifting applications.

Our site services team provide hydraulic cylinder (jack) installation, calibrated loading & un-loading for all applications such as bearing replacements.

Praeter Engineering can provide a synchronous lifting/jacking hydraulic system with real time monitoring and website data upload facility to give all parties access to the lifting operation and make adjustments where neccessary.

We can provide lifting systems from 1kN to 10,000kN per lifting point and we offer controlled lifts with up to 0.1mm displacement accuracy as standard.

Where a heavy lift does not require a synchronous system, a balanced hydraulic circuit with load and displacment monitoring systems can be installed in the form of load cells, analogue or digital pressure gauges, pressure transducers and displacement sensors.

Praeter Engineering offer various heavy lifting systems based around a 700bar hydraulic circuit and cylinders.

Our standard synchronos lifting systems offer the following;

  • A touchscreen user friendly computer display unit
  • Control of the lift via the digital interface to ensure all lifting points are within 1mm variation
  • System can be set to automatically stop at a pre-defined load or displacement
  • All data is recorded to an online website offering access to all involved parties
  • Graphical printouts available during and after the lift
  • System can be set-up for 2 lifting points to 24 lifting points
